ispconfig3 and lampcms

Hi all,
Has someone got lampcms to work with ispconfig3 and nginx at all?
If so, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Main problem being that ispconfig3 won't let you change the root directory from it's default of :-
"/var/www/website.com/web"
And because I'm using nginx, I have to try and 'point' it via a 'location' to 'website/lampcms/www'

To further complicate it all, I'm trying to install Lampcms in a subdirectory.

So ultimately my urls will look like 'http://website.com/q-and-a/register' etc. etc.

I've tried many things:-

a/ changed the website vhost file manually to change the root too the lampcms 'www' directory, only to have that overwritten by ispconfig3 when I adjusted something in there.

b/ tried installing lampcms into the default root directory /website.com/web by putting only the lampcms 'www' folder contents into there and the config / logs / etc. in the directory above the ispconfig3's 'web' directory. Again no joy due to permissions etc.

c/ tried multiple variations of 'location /q-and-a { ... }' and failing again.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Regards
Drew

Should I drop ispconfig3 altogether? Are there other (better) control panels I should be using? Thanx again.
