Installing GD in CentOS 6.3 x64

Hi, I am trying to setup Centos in my CentOS 6.3 x64 server but when I run the phptest.php script it says I do not have GD installed. I did install GD as you can see
$ php -m
[PHP Modules]
apc
bz2
calendar
Core
ctype
curl
date
ereg
exif
fileinfo
filter
ftp
gd
gettext

So my question is, what could be going wrong? GD also does not show up in my phpinfo() page.

I got it working, I had to kill all my php processes manually and reboot my server and it showed up.

IT seems like I have PHP-GD enabled php -i brings up the following info:

gd

GD Support => enabled
GD Version => bundled (2.0.34 compatible)
FreeType Support => enabled
FreeType Linkage => with freetype
FreeType Version => 2.3.11
GIF Read Support => enabled
GIF Create Support => enabled
JPEG Support => enabled
libJPEG Version => 6b
PNG Support => enabled
libPNG Version => 1.2.49
WBMP Support => enabled
XPM Support => enabled
XBM Support => enabled

Directive => Local Value => Master Value
gd.jpeg_ignore_warning => 0 => 0

However phpinfo() does not show anything regarding GD and the phptest.php says No Soup For Me because of lack of GD!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
