I every now and then come back to see if you still require MySQL for searches.
just now, I saw that you have edited the futures page, and it says we can use Sphinx.
I like that but I don't have any experience with Sphinx.
I just went on to their site, and it says:
Depending on what source Sphinx should get the data from, different code is required to fetch the data and prepare it for indexing. This code is called data source driver (or simply driver or data source for brevity).
It seams they only have drivers for databases. maybe there are no drivers required for html pages???
Can you give some inside on how Sphinx should be setup, and how it would work with LampCMS?
